About Us
When Morris Fine, a Russian immigrant, came to America in 1890, he started a company that was bound for greatness with great quality. Starting his company from the lower east side of New York, making enduring quality, comfortable fit, casual work clothes he expanded to multiple factories in many states. Over the years Fine produced shirts and pants, besides under M. Fine, they also produced under FiveBrother®, Dakota, Washington “DEE CEE”, Male, Jeff Martin, and Deer Creek. Fivebrother®, was then acquired by an investment firm, when a death of the CEO in 2009. Then in 2012 John W. Parrott JR. made the decision to purchase Fivebrother®.
John has been in the workwear apparel industry for over 45 years. He has seen great things in the history of FiveBrother® over the years. John knew with his expertise, that the Flannel line was the best made, and knew he could bring the quality back to America just like Morris Fine did in 1890.
John had brought back the best quality and durability with the new denim line in 2012. He has also added men’s flannels, Jackets is both fleece and quilted in 2014. In 2019 Fivebrother® added a new line of ladies’ apparel, with unlined flannel, lined jackets and a tunic style flannel. Now based in Bloomington, Illinois, FIVEBROTHER® is ready to meet the needs of working men and women throughout North American. We also provide private label manufacturing and distribution services for select retail partners.
